The PDK is easier to drive and probably changes quicker but I do like the fact you can downshift two gears by hand and experience probably the best manual box I have encountered, pure driving pleasure but it is nice to sit back in auto and let the car do the work, so it is a personal choice.

One Cayman has a manual gearbox and the other comes equipped with PDK. manual may be involving but if you get it wrong during a down change and over-rev the engine, it could potentially prove expensive (warranty denials etc) but with a PDK you won't over rev and can.
